‘You cannot have a No. 1 station with No. 1 breakfast, mornings and weekend programs, and a drive show in sixth place,’ the unnamed source said.

‘The 3pm to 6pm time slot is a crucial part of the overall radio result, and 해외에이전시 Jim sadly has not moved the dial since he started two years ago. We are bleeding out in the afternoons.’

Wilson took over Ben Fordham’s top-rating drive program in 2020, when the popular presenter replaced Alan Jones on breakfast.

Since then, Fordham has consistently won the ratings in the 6am to 9am time slot.

Meanwhile, Wilson, who scored 9.1 per cent in his first survey, has been steadily shedding fans in the afternoons.

Wilson, a former Channel Seven sports reporter, has been defended by Nine Radio, owners of 2GB.

Greg Byrnes, Nine’s head of content, said Wilson’s cumulative audience was up seven per cent ‘year on year’, and that his afternoon show was ‘neck and neck with the ABC in a very competitive slot’.
